1. Blogging:
A blog is a subcategory/sub-branch of the website or a type of website that deals with mostly text just like a news article, it is also called a blog post.
The difference between a website and a blog is that blog is dynamic and needs to update more frequently whereas a website is static and not compulsory to update more frequently.
Moreover, a blog is mostly a single person's opinion and a website is mostly run by a company or a group.
The art of making a blog or weblog, blog, etc. is also called blogging. You can say a blog or website is almost the same up to some extent.
A good blog promotes participation because it invites users (readers) to be part of it and carry out various actions, such as comments and suggestions, ratings and ratings of the content, dissemination on social networks, etc.

There are many types and uses for blogs, basically, we can classify them into those that serve to help, sell and make money or even to cheat.
Whatever the classification, there is no denying that they are a very powerful and flexible tool to establish communication in various directions, from a person in your home to a large corporation with a worldwide presence.

2. Classification/types of Blogs:

Personal Blog:
Which aims to express the way of thinking, stories, experiences, and skills determined by one or several people. Generally, these blogs do not pursue an economic purpose, but the personal gratification of helping, expressing, and sharing information, experiences, and knowledge.
Professional Blog:
They are usually associated with a person, agency, or small company that offers a service or product. They pursue an economic purpose, which can be associated directly (eg sale of services or products, advertising, etc.) or indirectly (eg generate contacts and prospects of customers) with the blog.
Corporate Blog:
They are associated with companies or corporations, to establish an additional channel for a brand. They can be created directly associated with the brand or anonymously and independently (camouflaged) as part of the company's strategy.
Types of Blogs according to the format and use:

Thematic Blog:
Specific topics are discussed: politics, news, current affairs, opinion, etc.
Blog brand, products, and/or services:

Collaborative blogs:
These are the ones that have «many people» ... with more than one author/editor, either internal (eg family, friend, employee) or external (eg an unknown person, strategic association with third parties, paid editors, etc.).
